The Round by Henry Morton Robinson

One of the online courses I was taking gave us an assignment to do a grunge-like workup of a favorite book.  Robinson is probably my most favorite auther and the story is about restoring a merry-go-round.  The pace of the story  is amazing with outstanding charactorization.  My photos are from Lark Toys in Wabasha, MN.  All the other layers, textures etc. are from coarse matterials.  This is one of my favoite fine art photos.

Peter Pan and the BMX

One fine evening we went to a local BMX park in Las Vegas and shot many young men jumping and flying through the air.  Remember Peter Pan enjoyed his flights over Neverland reminded me of the fun this boy had on the course.  I used a preset which allowed me to enhance the outline of my boy and bike.  Images and textures were added after the preset action was used.

Tulip Mesh

It is so much fun creatively playing with photos.  This photo work-up was done for a submission to the La Crosse Camera Club February 2016 and won a second place win.  All of the work was done in Photoshop.
